The final design of this residence was a compromise
of ideas from both husband and wife – one leaning
toward Early American and the other French Country.
We were able to take characteristics from both design
styles to develop plans for this custom built home.
Siding color, cultured stone and the use of wood tones
at doors, porch, and roof locations were all carefully
decided upon to deliver a look that would exceed the
owners’ expectations.
The interior incorporates a variety of woods. Silver
maple, cherry, quarter sawn oak and rustic pine were
all used to deliver the unique atmosphere the owners
envisioned, yet keeping the flow of the overall house
in harmony.
The home consists of six bedrooms in addition to a
large master suite retreat area, a seven stall garage,
exercise room, home theatre, expansive kitchen and a
cathedralled great room that stretches to 29’
at the peak.
